Confucianism
Chineses philosopher Confucius developed an ethical and philosophical system in 6th century BC what is called today as Confucianism . It started as an "ethical-socio political teaching" , but later developed metaphysical and cosmological elements in the Han Dynasty. Confucianism became the official state ideology of the Han dynasty. Confucianism focuses on the practical life of human beings, especially the importance of the family. It does not believe in gods or any life after death. The countries which got strongly influenced by Confucianism include mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau,Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Vietnam. Singapore is also has influence of Confucianism.
The Confucianism is having five constants or themes.
1. Humanness.
2. Righteousness.
3. Etiquette.
4. Knowledge.
5. Integrity.
It also says that if one wants to govern others, first he or she should learn to govern himself or herself.
